With funding support from CreativeNZ last year we began TORO PIKOPIKO PUPPETS have been creating and performing Te Ao Māori puppet shows since 1995. With funding support from CreativeNZ last year we began making children’s musical audiobooks adapted from the last ten years of creative output by Jeffrey Addison and Te Whaitaima Te Whare. Performed and narrated in English, with some te Reo Māori words, phrases and songs - Toro Pikopiko Tales Volume # 1 is currently being distributed globally by AudiobooksNZ. Volume # 1 contains 5 Māori creation stories about the exploits of our earliest Māori ancestors.
